Hey, I'm Angela!

I’m the founder of Bloom Within and a passionate Youth Mentor & Confidence Coach for Girls. For over a decade, I’ve been guiding girls to move from self-doubt to self-love, building the confidence, resilience, and courage they need to thrive.

My mission is deeply personal. Growing up, I struggled with low self-esteem and constant self-doubt. I was bullied in high school and felt lost in a noisy world, unsure of who I was or where I fit in. As a quiet, introverted teen, I didn’t know how to find my voice, believe in myself or step into my own power. Now, I’m dedicated to teaching these life-changing tools to girls so they can feel empowered & love themselves from the inside out!

At Bloom Within, I’m not just helping girls navigate life—I’m helping them bloom into their fullest, most confident selves, knowing they are enough exactly as they are.

How are the coaching sessions conducted?

Sessions are 45 minutes in length and are designed to provide a safe and supportive space for your daughter to grow.

🌸 In-Person Sessions: Held in my private and peaceful home office, surrounded by nature in Albury.

🌸 Online Sessions: For girls aged 12+, I offer Zoom sessions, so distance is no barrier to empowerment.

Parents typically drop their daughters off for the session and return to pick them up when finished. If your daughter feels unsure about staying without you, I recommend booking a free Meet & Greet. This allows both you and your daughter to meet me, explore the space, and feel comfortable before starting the sessions.

If you’d prefer to be present during the session, please reach out to me directly to discuss arrangements. My goal is to ensure your daughter feels safe, supported, and ready to bloom!

Can my daughter try a session before I commit to a package?

Absolutely!

You can book a single session to see if it’s the right fit for your daughter before committing to a package. This is a great way for her to experience the coaching style and start her journey to confidence and resilience.

What is the typical duration of a coaching relationship?

The duration of a coaching relationship varies from client to client.

I recommend starting with the 4 session package to build rapport and create a foundation for growth. For some girls, this is all they need, while others prefer ongoing support, booking sessions each school term or as challenges arise.

Sessions can be scheduled weekly or fortnightly, depending on your daughter’s need for support.

Throughout our journey I like to remain flexible and work closely with you and your daughter to determine the level of support that feels right. Empowering her to be part of this decision-making process helps her take ownership of her growth and journey. 

How is privacy handled in coaching sessions?

Your daughter’s safety & privacy is a top priority in all coaching sessions.

What is discussed during her session remains confidential, creating a safe and supportive space where she feels comfortable sharing her thoughts and feelings.

The only exceptions to this are if I believe she is at risk of harm or if she gives me permission to share something with you as her parent. In these cases, I will handle the situation with care and always keep her well-being at the centre of any decisions.

What is the difference between Coaching and Counselling?

While coaching and counselling can both provide valuable support, they serve different purposes:

🌸 Coaching is like looking through the front windscreen of a car.

It focuses on where you’re headed, where you want to go, and how to get there.

Together, we’ll create a map and plan to help your daughter build confidence, resilience, and the tools she needs to thrive. It’s forward-focused, aiming to build confidence, resilience, and emotional intelligence to help her handle challenges and reach her goals. Coaching is action-oriented and tailored to her unique needs.

🌸 Counselling is more like looking in the rear-view mirror of a car.

It explores where you’ve been, what’s happened in the past, and how those experiences may be impacting the present.

Counselling often delves into deeper emotional or mental health issues, exploring past experiences or trauma that may be impacting her well-being. It’s designed to provide therapeutic support, often working through underlying emotional or psychological concerns.

If your daughter is navigating challenges like self-doubt, friendships, or emotional regulation, coaching can provide practical strategies and skills to help her move forward.

However, coaching is not a replacement for medical or professional help.

If your daughter is dealing with significant mental health issues or trauma, I recommend seeking support from a qualified counsellor, psychologist, or medical professional.
